2015年12月14日，中日韩三国合作秘书处秘书长杨厚兰率副秘书长李钟宪和梅泽彰马访问日本环境省，与地球环境局梶原成元局长就三国环境合作交换意见。
杨厚兰秘书长表示三国环保合作历史最久，是三国合作最重要领域之一，在领导人会议上得到了三国领导人的认可。为进一步深化三国环保合作，秘书处将竭尽所能提供各方面支持。
梶原成元局长介绍了三国环境部长会议取得的最新进展，对如何落实《中日韩环境合作联合行动计划（2015-2019）》提出了建议，并表示日方愿与秘书处保持沟通与合作。
